Norwegian Design Council has ranked the best design agencies in Norway, based on the award "Design Effect", which the council awards to companies that can document results from their design investments. The result is a list where 13 out of 19 agencies are located in Oslo.
– These agencies have proven that they create concrete value for their clients. They have succeeded in presenting concrete evidence that a strategic design effort contributes to profitability and value, Skule Storheill says, director of FoU and the innovation programs at the Norwegian Design Council.
At the top of the list; Strømme Throndsen Design who helped with the re-launch of Fjordland yoghurt Yoplait L `amour, and helped build the brand Jacobs Selected, which in its first year had a turnover of about 100 million kroner.
