Takes a tigerleap and Wikileaks

IntelliSearch provides search technology solutions for the corporate market and was, according to managing director Lasse Ruud almost technically bankrupt in the summer of 2008. The accounts for 2007 showed an operating loss of 23.8 million. In 2008, the search company lost 14.4 million kroner, and had to implement tough cost cuts and layoffs.

Last year the company managed to turn a profit of 1.8 million on revenue of 7.4 million kroner. The leap from minus to plus places the company at number three on the Oslo Business Memos ranking of companies that managed to turn the current account deficit in 2008 to surplus in 2009.

Now the company is in the wind with a search solution for WikiLeaks. IntelliSearch has previously made a solution that enables advanced search of Wikipedia, and also includes everything that is published on WikiLeaks. IntelliSearch shows that the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing also search the Wikileaks, but with mixed success.
