– We get weekly requests for houses in a very high price class, and many of the customers are from Oslo, says Wilhelmsen. For the right property, customers from the capital usually put ten million or even more on the table. Recently, one of the beach properties on Nøtterøy with an asking price of over 20 million – was sold.
The final price has not yet been made public, but the sale of the 400-square-foot house only took four weeks to close.
According to Wilhelmsen this is very fast for a luxury property of this size.
In addition, another luxury property centrally placed on Nøtterøy was sold soon after the price was lowered from 13 to 11.5 million, according to Tønsberg Blad.
But it is not just big beach properties that are in demand, even though people from Oslo certainly are looking for the most expensive properties.
-Generally, there is great demand from local people to buy properties on Nøtterøy, Wilhelmsen says. Some areas such as Ringshaug a bit outside the city is also attractive residential areas and there it is not only 20-million villas that is sold.
