The stations are operated on a franchise basis. Jan Fredrik Conradi runs Furuset Auto Center, Auto Center and Lilleaker Bjerke Auto Center. Conradi has previously stated to Aftenposten that he earns 15 cents per liter. The operating profit for 2009 confirms that the margins are small, and the company noted a result of 1.4 million kroner, which is a half of what was noted last year. Conradi was not available for comments yesterday.
The figures for the daughter companies show that Furuset Auto Center is the largest enterprise. The station at Furuseth sells, petrol and diesel, regular convenience store goods, and washes and cleans cars for 142.9 million kroner (NOK 162.3 million in 2008), and has an operating profit of 0.7 million kroner, down from 1.3 million kroner last year.
