Only 800 slots will be availably for over 2000 Statoil employees, and as of today there are no plans of expanding public transportation to Fornebu.
– The employees are very concerned about this issue, leader of the union Industry Energy Statoil Brit Riise Fredheim says.
– We want the employees to use public transportation, communications manager for the Statoil-Fornebu project Erik Haaland says.
Statoil is said to be in dialog with transportation company Ruter regarding transportation to Fornebu. Nevertheless, it will no doubt take years before a solid and scalable transport solution will be in place for the employees at Statoil.
