Saxegaard is the initiator and founder of the Business for Peace Foundation. It is the second time the foundation awards business leaders with ”The Oslo Business award”. In collaboration with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Oslo municipality, among others, the foundation also awards "The Oslo Business for Peace Award”.
Saxegaard, who runs his own consultancy firm on Aker Brygge, swears to his theory that partners who sell goods and services to each other will not shoot at each other, and he hopes the award will help promote peace.
The award coincides with Oslo Innovation week that begins this week.
