Lillestrøm marching band is one of the lucky ones. After the peak season they have raised enough money for the marching band to survive another year, two flea markets give a return of 950 000 kroner. A third covers the costs; the rest keeps the marching band marching.
Another flea market in honour of Smedstad marching band raises a total of a million kroner every year.
– This is what keeps us alive, says head of the band Siw Elisabeth Seland.
