Every week over 2500 litres of beer is brewed in a small brewery in Bogstadveien, and everything is sold. Oslo Microbrewery had a turnover of nearly 6,5 million kroner last year, and the brewery in Trondheim did even better with a turnover of nearly 9 million kroner.
– The nice thing about beer is that people by it no matter what their finances look like, beer-entrepreneur Frithjof Boye Hungnes says.
Oslo Microbrewery is the first brewery to start up business in Norway in a hundred years, and already after the first year over a million bottles of beer where distributed to shops throughout Oslo city.
