According to Statistics Norway, there was 22 200 so-called built-up residential properties nationwide by the end of the 3rd quarter. That is an increase of eight percent compared with figures from the same period last year. The total market value of these properties were 54.4 billion kroner. The average price per closed deal was 2.5 million kroner.
The number of registrations of all forms of real estate increased by around five percent in third quarter of this year compared to same time last year. Sales of residential houses and holiday homes rose by respectively eight and five percent.
When it comes to real estate in general the turnover was 46 400, 2000 more than per third quarter of 2009. The total value of the transferred properties amounted to 73.8 billion kroner. amounting to an increase of 13 percent compared with last year. The value of real estate in one block has never been higher.
