Prices for legal activities in Norway increased by 4.7 per cent compared to the 2nd quarter of 2013. This is the largest annual price increase since the 2nd quarter of 2009.
Compared to the previous quarter, prices increased by 0.5 per cent, Norway Statistics reports.
Price increase within architectural and advertising services
From the 2nd quarter of 2013 to the 2nd quarter of 2014, prices for architectural services increased by 4.0 per cent. Compared to the previous quarter, prices increased by 1.0 per cent.
Advertising services had a price growth of 3.9 per cent in the 2nd quarter of 2014 compared to the same period in 2013. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2013, prices were approximately unchanged.
Lower price growth within employment activities
The prices for employment activities increased by 0.6 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2013 to the 2nd quarter of 2014. This is the lowest price increase since the 3rd quarter of 2010. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2013, prices went down by 0.9 per cent.
Stable price change in IT services
From the first quarter to the second quarter of 2014, prices of computer consultancy services rose by 0.5 per cent.
The prices increased by 2.7 per cent from the second quarter of 2013 to the second quarter of 2014. The growth was mainly caused by increased prices in the fourth quarter of 2013.
